ar, far away, in a far away land, lived a girl named Vicky. But she was called by Vickyrella by everyone around her - because she only knew her evil step dad, the evil Peter, and his deceitful daughters, Amanda and Kate. They made her do everything, including, but not limited too, according to the Step dad - Daughter Agreement, which she had been forced to sign when her mom died:

  • Clean all rooms

  • Make all meals

  • Keep the house shining

  • Tend the garden

  • Wash The Clothes

  • Do the shopping

  • Do anything that we say

  • Compliment your sisters and myself

  • Do any other chore as needed

She also had to work because the UN Human Rights Council didn’t know about it, and according to her step dad, they were a whole bunch of busy bodies who would destroy her (So she wouldn’t tell them).

One day, a little while later, about 5 years after this started, a Royal Proclamation came out. The Prince was looking for a bride! Any girl over the age of 16 (like they all were), but under the age of 18 (which they all were) could come to the Royal Ball and dance with the prince. Someone in the crowd was to become the new princess and future QUEEN!

Oh the girls were so excited. Now Vickyrella was not allowed to go, but had to make the dresses for her sisters. She made gorgeous dresses, but she had lots of fabric left over.

So, throughout many a sleepless night, she made herself a dress far more stunning than both that she had given to her sisters. But she was caught one night when her evil stepfather came over to see what all of the commotion was. He took the dress and gave it to her evil sister. Vickyrella was sad. She had no dress, and wasn’t allowed to go to the ball.

The night of the ball arrived and everyone but Vicky went out to the ball. Vicky was sad, but she was determined not to give her evil family any happiness and satisfaction.

Suddenly, a fairy appeared. She looked at Vicky. “Hey, little darling! Why are you so sad?”

Vicky looked at her. “Who are you?”

The fairy laughed. “My name is Rawda, and I am your fairy godmother!”

Vicky looked at her. “But fairy godmothers only come in fairy tales, Rawda”

Rawda looked over her shoulder. Then back again. “Well, looks like someone messed up. But anyhow, I will still give you some wishes. Now, you want to go to the ball, right?”

“Yes” said Vicky timidly.

“Ok” said Rawda. “Get me three mice, a pumpkin, and a button.”

Vickyrella ran and got them all. She gave them to Rawda. She had a button, a pumpkin and three computer mice. “I’m scared of mice” she explained.

Rawda sighed, but she made the button into a chauffeur, the pumpkin into a fairytale carriage and the mice into the horses - mechanical horses because they were mechanical mice.

And off Vicky went - in her rags, until they noticed and Rawda changed it into the most beautiful gown that she had ever seen. Rawda looked at her wand. “Powerful stuff!” she declared.

As the carriage rolled away, Rawda shouted out “Be gone by midnight! All will revert to it’s original foundation” but Vicky didn’t hear her over the sound of the horse’s hooves.

She got to the ball and went right in, where the prince saw her. He stopped dancing with the other girls and went right to dancing the night away with Vicky. As the clock struck midnight, they were still dancing.

But Vicky, remembering the words, or at least part of them (she had heard some of it) ran away, losing one of her fine silk glove and one of her golden encrusted glass size 2.3 heels.

Time passed, and soon after, another Royal Proclamation was issued. Whoever fit the shoe would become the princess.

Of course, Vicky’s evil sisters were so excited. And one day, when their turn came to try and Vicky was sent to the attic, they tried it on.

Well, they almost broke the slipper, though they fit the gloves (like every other girl in the galaxy - they were stretchable and they had been stretched.) . The people were about to leave, asking “Is there any other girl here?”

The sisters and Vicky’s dad said “No” but Vicky made a small sound and was pulled down, getting a warning from her dad that she was going to be punished later. She tried to shoe and it didn’t fit.

But then Rawda, the good fairy paused time and came down, fixing the shoe so it fit the one it belonged to (the evil siblings had put her foot in lot’s of growth hormone just in case). With a smile, she cast her wand, and disappeared, re-starting time at the same time.

No, I’m kidding. The shoe fit and Vicky lived happily ever after in the castle as a Queen. Her step-dad and her step-sisters became butler/maids at the castle and everyone lived happily ever after.

Except for Rawda, who stumbled into Sleeping Beauty and fell asleep for 1000 years. But as Rawda said, “Oh, well. Just try again…”

The End.
