Vicky and Kate rushed up that hill, anxious to claim the Platinum egg for their own. As Vicky got the pentinum of the hill, with Kate only inches behind them, Ted burst through the trees surronding the hill, and seeing the girls already at the prize, let out a loud, high pitched shriek. This knocked Vicky's precarious grip on the hill off and she tumbled down, knocking down Kate like a bowling ball on the way.

But they recovered quickly, and they began racing the already ascending Ted to the top of the hill. They would never forgive themselves if he, the Captain of Evil won the Platinum Egg. Not when they had been so close. They raced up, and working as a team, they knocked Ted down and took the egg together. Then Vicky, who had more eggs, took the platinum egg and gave Kate 12 points worth of other eggs: 1 gold (5), 2 silver (3 each, for 6) and 1 bronze (1). They nodded in agreement and parted ways to look for more eggs.

Vicky: 1 platinum. 0 gold. 0 silver. 5 bronze (-1 gold, 2 silver, 1 bronze. +1 platinum) Points: 30

Kate: 1 gold. 5 silver. 4 bronze (+1 gold, 2 silver, 1 bronze) Points: 23

Adam and Nick were searching the river, both disappointed with their hauls so far. But that was happily over. The river valley had a plethora of eggs. Enough that they could get all the eggs they wanted, and not have to fight over who got what egg.

The trouble was the biggest stash of the eggs they could find - 2 bronze, 3 gold and 4 silver - were trapped in a bubble at the bottom of the river, inches away from their grips, and neither could reach it. Yet they didn't want to leave it.

So well Nick guarded it, Adam went and got a stick from nearby and together they managed to haul the eggs in. Then they started splitting. Nick and Adam each got one gold, with Nick getting the third. Nick got three silver eggs, Nick got 1 and they each got 1 bronze egg. It was fair enough, and Nick had suggested it. Adam was happy to accept. They collected their eggs and started heading back. They only had 45 minutes to get to the judging booth.

Adam: 3 gold. 6 silver. 9 bronze (+3 gold, 5 silver, 6 bronze ) Points: 41

Nick: 4 gold. 16 silver. 4 bronze (+2 gold, 4 silver, 2 bronze) Points: 72

Jennifer and Sophie were the undisputed queens of the eggs. At least, Jenn was. She had collected a huge amount, and had already dropped her eggs off twice. Sophie was faring not quite as well, but still fine.

Infact, Jennifer had done so well she had gone to rest at the judging station well Sophie continued to pick up eggs in the area. She even met Peter and helped him get the elusive golden egg off the roof of the school, generously giving it to him as she wandered off to the other school, leaving him to collect more eggs there.

Collect more eggs he did. He collected a small collection of eggies, of all colours. The piggies in Angry Birds would have been jealous of his collection of eggs. Though they may not have found them tasty, he thought with a snort as he picked up his 5th golden egg.

Jenn: 9 gold. 14 silver. 10 bronze (+ 5 gold, 9 silver, 7 bronze) Points: 97

Sophie: 2 gold. 5 silver. 18 bronze (+1 gold, 2 silver, 12 bronze) Points: 42

Peter: 5 gold. 4 silver. 7 bronze (+5 gold, 4 silver, 6 bronze) Points: 39

The time was up, and everyone was at the judging station. Everyone was quiet as the judges solomley counted up the eggs and the points. The V6, plus Peter were talking among themselves about how many eggs they had collected. Everyone agreed that Jennifer had collected the most of the group, but they weren't sure if it would be enough to win. Six years ago, the winner had collected 123 points, but that had been an anomonly and had never happened before. Though there were over 2,000 points to get, the number of people ensured that there would be no winner with over 150 or so points.

The judges took the stand. "And, the winner, with 98 points is". Jennifer slapped herself softly. If she had only collected 2 more bronze eggs, she could have won! Aaah!

"the winner is Jessica McWorthy." A girl bounced up to the stage. Peter's eyes opened in shock. It was the girl that stole an egg from him. Without that egg, Jennifer and Jessica would have been tied!

She recieved her prize and the group went out to the local petting zoo to pet the local bunny rabbits (see - told you there would be a bunny) and agreed that the day was fun.

The End.
